"Best Ever" EGSA Conference?

Posted By: Don Ferreira on 10/6/2009

It's been a few weeks since we've returned from Colorado Springs, unpacked the boxes, sorted through all the business cards and paused to take a breath. Yet, despite the quiet, the "buzz" that EGSA President Greg Linton mentioned in his last Powerline column is still resonating with a will. What's it saying? That this recent conference was "the best in EGSA history."

I've attended nearly all of the past 20 EGSA Conferences, and I have to admit that I agree. We had a record number of first-time attendees and new EGSA Members on hand. That fact alone was enough to energize the entire conference. The Manufacturers Showcase was very active but when it came to reviewing committee attendance, we were really excited to learn that an overwhelming number of conference attendees participated in the Monday afternoon meetings.

For those of you who missed the conference, you can get a sense of what occurred by reviewing the presentations and the conference slide show. Stay tuned for details on the 2010 Annual Spring Convention in St. Petersburg, FL and mark your calendar NOW for March 14-16. You don't want to miss EGSA's next "best ever" convention!
