It's my pleasure to introduce you to our new, "green", event registration portal. This new initiative serves to reduce our carbon footprint by replacing printed brochures, user guides and faxed registration forms with a more efficient, all-electronic format. You're sure to find it informative, easy to use and environmentally friendly!

The portal has been launched with the scheduled line-up for the 2010 EGSA Annual Spring Convention. These timely educational sessions will engage your interest, provoke your thoughts and provide you with useful information to help you succeed in this new and challenging economy.

This year's theme - "Focus on Recovery" - speaks to our collective determination to rebound from recent economic conditions and adapt to the economy's new realities. Listen carefully to each speaker and you'll note that real opportunities are available - even in this sluggish economy. You'll also find that those who are prepared to exploit these opportunities may do so to great advantage.

Starting with our Opening Keynote "Recovery: Positive Changes in the Workplace and the Economy," this year’s program will help you formulate a strategy to secure your firm’s place in the new economy. Sessions such as "The Path to Tier 4i" and "Organizational Development and Market Diversity" will reveal what challenges you may expect in the months to come and the ways in which your firm could - and should - respond. And finally, "The End-User Perspective", "Road to Recovery-Stimulus Funding" and "Demand Response" will give you insight into how your business relationships are adapting and evolving in response to the new economy.

As always, we've also scheduled Committee Meetings to allow members to participate in the business of the Association with Codes & Standards, Market Trends, Government Relations and more.
